OFFER YOUR VISITORS SELF-GUIDED FREEDOM
The Orpheo Media interactive terminal is a platform for downloading self-guided tours onto your visitors’ multimedia players.

Millions of people get connected every day.
Podcasting is becoming increasingly popular with every passing day. Understandably so, since it affords maximum freedom of movement, allowing users to listen or watch whatever is they want to – when and how they want to. At this time, the recreation and tourism sector is the scene of experiments involving the new technologies. The objective is to facilitate access to content, whether original or specially designed, in keeping with the individual needs and pace of visitors. This approach also enables visitors to publish or broadcast comments to friends and family and thus make for a richer post-visit experience.

THE MARKET
Over the last several years, a revolution has occurred in the “directionality” of the content of self-guided tours used by the visiting public.
As museums and historic sites continue to grow in popularity, an increasing number of visitors prefer touring them with their own player or reader. Owing to their familiarity with their systems, visitors who download a self-guided tour from the Orpheo Media terminal are therefore sure to get the most out of their visit.

HIGH TECHNOLOGY
Advances in high technology are occurring at a rate faster than what our everyday environment enables us to notice. And yet, their impacts – in terms of major shifts in generational attitudes and visiting/ vacation habits – are no less tangible for all that.In this context, constant renewal is the rule, as there simply is no room for a lax service offering.Like high technology itself, tourism is today one of the sectors in which fluidity plays such a pivotal role. As a rule, behaviours change every year, thus making it imperative to adapt on an ongoing basis

Mobile Interactive Solutions
Self-service-style, the visiting public accesses the multimedia animation created to convey your message. Users view the pages of this animation at the tap of a touchscreen. The Orpheo Media terminal contains its own computer, which can be connected to a system or linked to a server. The open architecture of the animation allows you to update or modify content in keeping with your needs. Integrating interactive terminals in cultural sites – and particularly at locations that tourists are naturally drawn to – means gaining the capacity to communicate with them seamlessly, and in the language of their choice.

       Record comments in several languages;
       Upload content onto the Orpheo terminal from your own system;
       Adapt to players offering MP3, M4A-or M4V compatibility;
       Update content using media kiosk manager software;
       ...etc.;
